Privacy Policy

We explain what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it when you use START-ROOT services.

Last updated: September 1, 2026 — demonstration document, to be customized with real legal content (e.g. GDPR-compliant).

1. What data we collect

To provide and bill our services, we collect the following categories of data:

  • Identification data: name, email address, phone number, billing address.
  • Technical data: IP address, service access logs, browser information.
  • Payment data: processed through authorized payment providers — we do not store full card details on our own servers.

2. How we use your data

Collected data is used to activate and manage services, issue invoices, communicate about your account status, and, with your consent, for marketing communications.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. We share it only with providers strictly necessary to operate the service — for example payment processors, the domain registry (where the law requires publishing WHOIS data), or authorities, upon lawful request.

3.1 Domain registries

When registering a domain, certain contact details may be transmitted to the registry corresponding to the chosen extension, according to its rules. We offer free WHOIS protection where the extension allows it.

4. Data security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access control over infrastructure, and continuous network monitoring against unauthorized access.

5. Retention period

We keep account data for as long as the account is active, plus the period required by applicable tax and accounting legislation. Technical log data is kept for a limited period, for security purposes.

6. Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, account deletion, or restriction of processing at any time, by writing to the contact address below.

  • The right to access personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to rectify inaccurate data.
  • The right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten"), where the law permits.
  • The right to withdraw your consent for marketing communications, at any time.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for the website and client panel to function, as well as optional analytics cookies, for which we ask your consent on your first visit.

8. Contact

For any request related to your personal data, you can write to us at [email protected].
